Opportunity
Bear Branch Lodge is pleased to announce that memberships are being offered to discriminating hunters and outdoor sportsmen due to the outstanding response and interest in the initial development of Bear Branch by Dr. Rodney Tittle. Bear Branch Lodge has recently been recognized as an Orvis endorsed hunting facility and kennel.
Bear Branch Lodge will operate on a club concept for the outdoor sportsman: offering upland and waterfowl hunting, clay shooting, shooting instruction, accommodations in the lodge or cabins, meals, as well as Orvis endorsed kennels and training.
We are offering you membership in a club that will offer you the opportunity to participate in some of the best hunting and clay shooting in the country!
Memberships Offered:
Founding Member: Interested parties can receive more info from the Membership Director or the owner; Dr. Rodney Tittle.
Corporate Memberships: Available to companies who wish to have up to 3 designated members who can use the facilities to entertain clients, employees, and prospects at our property in a cost effective way.
Individual Memberships: Perfect for the business person who wants a classy retreat to entertain guests, family, and friends, has a great place to stay with superior service, outstanding hunting, and exhilarating outdoor experiences at a reasonable price that is easily accessible.
Corporate Memberships
· Promotional Initiation Fee : $15,000
(Initiation Fees may be contractually paid over three years. There are 10 corporate memberships available at this rate. Memberships will go to $25,000 after first 10 are accepted. If paid in full up front, member will receive 4 additional nights lodging and two extra hunts. Also, if a member sells a corporate membership, he or she will earn a Benelli shotgun.)
· Annual Dues: $12,000
Annual Corporate Benefits:
· Up to three (3) designated authorized corporate users per membership
· 15 nights lodging at Lodge included annually
(Each night of lodging is available by advance reservation and can be used for guest) additional nights will be charged: Members @ $55;
Guest @ $95
Continental Breakfast included in lodging all other meals and drinks at member charge
· Annual seasonal Members Only parties: Christmas, Fourth of July, Harvest/Oktoberfest, etc...
· Discounted rates for member’s use of the facilities for corporate outings, weddings and rehearsal functions, lodging, presentations, sales meetings, etc…
Winged Hunts:
· Dove Season: Opening Weekend- 2 Hunts (each hunt is a one-half (1/2) day segment with up to 3 members and 6 guests included per hunt) Morning hunts are usually 6am- 11am; Afternoon hunts generally are 2pm-6pm (dusk). Lunch is included in member hunts. Unlimited additional dove hunts on a reservation basis with payment of daily guest gun fees for all guests.
· Pheasant Tower Shoots: Monthly member tower shoots will be held October- March. Each shoot will have up to 25 guns and 250 birds. The corporate membership will provide for six (6) gun slots for its members and guests. Additional individual tower shoots can be arranged at a corporate membership discount through the pro shop. Lunch is provided at tower shoots.
Upland Hunting:
· Upland (Quail) Hunts:
6 week-end & 6 weekday (1/2 day) hunts included in annual dues; each hunt is a minimum of two guns, with three being allowed. A member must be present with any guest using the facilities. Each hunt will include 30 birds. Extra birds will currently cost $8 each. Tipping of the guides is extra and customary. A weekend hunt may be exchanged for two (2) additional weekday hunts. Additional hunts with or without guest are available on a reservation basis at the prevailing fee structure.
A member is welcome to use the property (without charge) for upland hunting if he uses his own dogs. There will be a charge for birds and for the placement and/or cleaning of the birds. Guest will be charged the daily gun fee if with a member. Prior notice/reservation of space is required.
* North Dakota style Pheasant hunts are currently available as exchange hunts for quail hunts (or as additional hunts) with a limit of 5 pheasants per gun. Extra birds cost $30 each. Chukar, Hungarian Partridge and English style Pheasant hunts will be available in the future as an exchange hunt for any quail hunt or on a fee basis by reservation through the pro shop.
Wetland Hunting:
· Duck Hunts:
Bear Branch is providing natural flight duck hunts this year. Each corporate membership will include 4 duck hunts this season. Each hunt will include up to 3 hunters with a minimum of 1 member at each hunt. Additional hunters will be charged at the daily guest gun fee. There will be 5 ducks per man/gun included in each hunt with additional ducks costing $30 each. Youth guests under the age of 14 will be at one-half (1/2) the normal guest fee. We encourage booking early for these hunts as they are available only as ducks are available.
Sporting Clays
5 Stand Shoot:
v5 Stand Member/Guest Tournament (1 held per month> year round) Each Corporate membership has 4 Member/Guest team slots to use annually.
vMembers Only Weekly 5 Stand Shoots (year round)
vMembers get free round with each member hunt, guests each pay $25 pavilion fee and for additional clay target/rounds.
vMembers can use 5 Stand pavilion any time and pay only for targets used.
v Sporting Clay course/Trap/Skeet facilities are expected to be built in the near future with similar usage availability.
Fishing at Bear Branch
· At Bear Branch we have multiple large lakes stocked with world class largemouth bass. We offer boat rentals for our members and their guests who wish to travel without their boat. We will have a fully stocked pro shop for those last minute items and fishing tackle rentals. Our lakes offer our members that perfect place to pursue the elusive largemouth. Even the most seasoned fisherman should be excited!
· Our program is catch and release. We allow a creel limit of 10, for crappie, bluegill, and catfish.
· Five (5) half-day boat rentals are included in the annual corporate member dues.
Retrievers: Kennel, Training, Breeding
Bear Branch is proud to house some of the finest retrievers and bird dogs in the world. Hunting behind our dogs or watching a precision retrieve by one of our retrievers is an experience our members and their guests will not soon forget.
Our kennels are second to none and our dogs are treated with the respect and care that a world class athlete deserves. Our members and their guests can also bring their dogs to use at our training facilities and board their dogs at the club while they are here. Retriever training is available for a pre-season “tune up” or individual training.
Outdoor Life
ü Unlimited Member Camping:
On a reservation basis, members will be able to access over 3000 acres for camping. Our camp sites will provide fire pits and access to the lodge.
Hiking trails, biking trails, bird watching as well as horseback trails are available now and will be enhanced as membership grows.
ü Hayrides and outdoor picnics/marshmallow roasts will be available (for members who want to sponsor team building, seasonal outings, etc. These will be charged on a per person basis at a great discount to public use fees).
ü Outdoor fire pit; horseshoe pits, volleyball are some of the other activities available.
Future Development Projects
Ø Deer/Turkey Hunts: expected to add additional packages that can be exchanged for some of the existing hunts or will be funded through additional optional club dues.
Ø Banquet Hall / Pool Complex
Ø Rifle range, archery range, skeet and trap, and a sporting clays course are some of the additional facilities expected to be added shortly.
Ø Individual cabins for sale and for short term rentals will be available soon.
Member/Guest Policies:
· Each guest will be charged a facility/gun fee when the guest is not included in the member’s allocated hunts.
· A half day guest fee is $125; full day fee is $175 plus all additional charges that apply such as: birds, shells, meals, lodging, guides, etc..
· Youth hunters under the age of 14 will be charged at one-half (1/2) the guest fee rate.
· Additional policies and fee rates will be set by Membership Council and Management.
